Motion

The foundational thinking behind our motion system — understanding why motion matters and how it adapts to user context.

Core principles

Four foundational principles that guide all motion decisions

Purposeful

Every motion serves a clear function — guiding attention, confirming actions, or adding value at key moments.

Subtle

Motion should feel natural and unobtrusive, respecting the user's attention and cognitive load.

Responsible

Especially critical in gaming contexts. Motion must never manipulate, pressure, or distract during important decisions.

Our Motion Philosophy

Motion should lower barriers, guide users, build confidence in critical moments, and reinforce emotion to make interfaces more lively and engaging—particularly for new users or during key actions like deposits, withdrawals, or celebrating wins.

User Journey

Motion usage shifts depending on where a user is in their journey. Use the interactive to explore how guide, confirm, and delight motion priorities change across different stages.

Adoption strategy

Critical success factors for building and deploying a motion system

Start with purpose

Don't jump to implementation. First align on why motion exists and when to use it. This prevents over-animation and keeps the system focused.

Test early and often

Apply motion to real scenarios immediately. Loading states, form submissions, navigation - test with actual users to validate perceived performance.

Measure impact

Track metrics: perceived load time, task completion rates, user satisfaction. Motion should improve these numbers, not just look pretty.
