Typography

Typography shapes our voice. If we work consistently with it, it will be easy to recognize us when we talk. Our fonts are designed for different purposes. Our identity font is our clearest voice. It is the one we use in all our external communication. In our daily work (for letters, PowerPoint presentations and other self-produced material), we use selected fonts that are pre-installed on all computers.

Identity typography

Svenska Spel's identity font is called Svenska Spel Platform. This means that it is the voice we jointly share with Svenska Spel Tur and Svenska Spel Sport & Casino (Svenska Spel Platform is also a common body font for all our product brands).

Svenska Spel Platform is a specially designed version of the Platform font. It is a linear (which means that the letter forms lack heels) with a modern, proud and kind character. Svenska Spel Platform is clear and easy to read, and is suitable for everything from powerful headlines and introductions to body text and captions. Headline

Svenska Spel Platform Bold is a cut that is designed to stand out in the crowd. It is used in headlines, preferably large and proud with confidence. The thickness of the letters means that it is also well suited to be placed on a picture.

Svenska Spel Platform Medium is used in subheadings, introductions and for buttons in digital applications.

Examples of identity typography

To create a cohesive expression, it is important that our typography is used consistently in all our channels and contact areas. The examples on this page show examples of how we use our font and its weights, as well as less good examples that we should avoid.

Everyday typography

For everyday use, in self-produced material such as letters, reports and PowerPoint presentations, the Arial font is used, which is pre-installed in all computers. Please note that external communication, both printed matter and digital material, is always produced with our identity font Svenska Spel Platform.

Color combinations typography

To achieve a uniform expression, we do not use text colors other than white, black and red. As we strive for high readability in everything we do, it is important to choose a text color that creates a good contrast to the background. We avoid certain combinations such as red text on a yellow background or red text on very dark images because they give an expression that does not suit Svenska Spel. We also do not use any of the accent colors as text color.

This also applies to text color web, the deep blue color we use on all text in digital applications.

Expressive numbers in infographics

When text is used for an illustrative purpose to lighten a layout, such as with large numbers, the accent colors can be used. But note that this should be done sparingly.
